Since the company began in 1919, it has retained its reputation as a shoe manufacturer with an unsurpassable standard of craftsmanship. The iconic stitching techniques derived from the Norwegian method – generally used for mountaineering boots – and the Goodyear stitch, which is typically used on handmade dress shoes.
